Bonfire Night Forest school on the Chevin

The children and their families had fun making paper fireworks and stuffing the Guy Fawkes to burn on the fire. The firework treasure hunt led the children to the surprise. The toffee apples were just as popular and the sprinkles too. 

Mud and Toffee apples at the October Holiday Club

 The children had great fun drilling pumpkins, making mud pies and slipping down the mud slope. We had a big fire to melt white chocolate for the marshmallow ghosts. Then melted sugar and syrup for the toffee apples. The children then used sprinkles to finish them off.

The children enjoyed finding seeds, nuts and spiky shells to make faces and animals that are due to hibernate for the Winter.
