Once again the Otley Guides visted the Chevin to do a Forest School with Amanda Panda. They used their imagination and knowledge of knots to create shelters. They did a tracking game and challenged each other to find the buried treasure.
The children had fun on the Chevin. We went pond dipping and found 4 sticklebacks. Thhen the children unted for lots of insects in the bilberry bushes. The cildren found 2 different caterpillar, a slug and ground beetle. The children enjoyed the challange of climbing up a hill with a rope.
WE have a fabulous time climbing, making and creating faces on the trees in Hetchell Woods near Whetherby. They familes and Daisy the dog joined in.
