WEll all the children were so excited this week with the egg hunt in the Chevin Woods with Amanda Panda and the Chevin Forest School, Otley. WE had challenges on the cargo net and thought of new games. But the team challange was to build the dry stonewall made from wood that Neil the Chevin Ranger had made. It took the group a record breaking 9 minutes to build . Fantastic team work!
Easter Egg Collecting in the Chevin and Gledhow woods
We had fun collecting Easter eggs and making them from willow with Amanda Newham on the Chevin woods in Otley this Saturday. The children made some exciting egg designs in Gledhow woods too with the Chevin Forest School.
Kirkstall Valley Primary School visit to the CFS
The 29 year 5 pupils had loads of excitement on Monday the 20th March up in the Chevin woods with Amanda Panda and the Chevin Forest School. The children loved hide and seek, making disc pendants, drilling, challenging themselves to the complicated rope bridge. Their dens were well built and stopped some of the rain.
