Today we made boats to sail on the small pond on the Chevin. When we launched them they all floated yippeee! Then we found lots of frog-lets to talk about. Around the fire there was lots of chat while making and cooking our bread.
First Day of Holiday Forest school......
We welcomed all the new faces to the Forest School. We had fun today finding the huge owl that hide from us in the wood. The children asked lots of questions at the owl. He seemed very sleepy because it was during the day.
Sensory Forest school for babies....
The babies had so much fun. Although it was very hot we found some shade under the trees. They used all their senses. The babies touched different barks of trees, felt sticks and pine cones, they heard a toy blue tit, we sang a song, they saw the colours hanging from the parachute. We finished by munching yummy fruit pieces.
