School Adventure days

Throughout the year we run  themed days for school classes, including Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, Easter, Christmas, Animals and Robin Hood, Stonge Age and more. These can occur at one of the sites or at your school.  Full days or half days are run by Forest School professionals and we're sure you will have a great time and links to the curriculum.

Our holiday club , for 5 -11yrs are run by qualified and experienced forest school leader level 3 and Teacher Amanda , Russel and Emma who are looking forward to working with your child for a fun packed day of den building, woodland crafts, outdoor games , soft archery, cooking at the fire and pond dipping . Just bring a packed lunch and water bottle , dress for the weather . The forest school site at the Chevin white House LS21 3JL, inside toilet too. All children are welcome to come and  team build, play, make new friends learn new skills in the great outdoors! Its just £26 per child from 9.30- 3pm, wrap around care can be arranged too.

We can tailor birthday packages for group sizes 10 minimum  and  maximum 15 children from 3-11 yrs. It lasts 2 hours. £12 per child, food included, and activities. At the Otley Chevin, near the White House or Gallows Hill Nature Reserve. Contact the e mail for further information.

Package 1- Forest school Party, with marshmallows and sausages / pancakes , a fire and a snacks, games, rope bridge and hammock, wood craft and art , dens, treasure hunt, mudslide (on Chevin only) and can be theme related -Minecraft, Fairies, Robin Hood. Just bring a cake and party bags.

Package 2- Survival Party - 8-11 year olds. Includes cooking on a fire, shelter building, team games, whittling and tool use, rope skills and knots, water filtration.

Package 3- soft Archery, games and team fire lighting with food for 7-11 year olds.

Its First Saturday am of the month. This session is aimed at children that are 3 -5yrs . We story tell, sing, play games, seek and find, mud play and have a fire. Parents and carers stay with their children. Its for an hour and half only £7.50 per child. Themes Gruffalo, Peppa pig houses, owls and hedgehogs.

Its LAST Saturday am of the month. These are 2 hour sessions for children 5 -11 yrs. We have a fire, swings, make things from wood, team work, and problem solve.

Forest school is an adventurous programme of play and learning in a woodland setting. We cook on the fire, den build , bug hunt, treasure hunt, team games, mud slide, natural art and more… Dress for the weather. Book via events page soon to join us in the woods
